Entry Rules

  1. Entries are due before June 15, 2008 (postmarked by post office). 
  2. Late entries will be accepted until July 18,2008 before Jackpot, if they include $50 late fee.  (Cash Only)
    There will be a $35 charge each time a cheque is returned to us for any reason.
  3. All funds in Canadian currency. 
  4. One horse per entry form.  May enter more than one horse.  No rider substitutions. 
  5. Horse substitutions up to time of check-in,
  6. Limit of 500 entries.
  7. Each rider must be a NBHA member in good standing.
  8. Dress code and hat rule will be enforced.  Hat fine is $25 if you lose your hat during race.
  9. Each horse may enter only once (exception family rule)
  10. 75% of entry fees and 100% of added money go to purse.
  11. The Open 4D Format is as follows: 1D-Fastest time of the go, 2D-Fastest time of the go plus one-half second,  3D-Fastest time of the go plus one second, 4D Fastest time of the go plus two seconds.
  12. Added money to be divided:  Open - $4000/run and $4000 for the average. Youth $1000/run (No Average), Senior $1000/run (No Average)
  13. All dogs on leash.
  14. We reserve the right to refuse any entry.
  15. All competition must abide by facility rules.
  16. Grounds open Thursday, July 18,2008 at noon.  Must leave by Monday, July 21, 2008 at noon.
  17. Rain or Shine.  Outside pen.  Electronic timers. 
  18. No horses east of arena.  Will be fenced off and enforced.
  19. Average of 50 horses to run per hour. 
  20. Rough camping on grounds.  Limited hook-ups available. 
  21. Not responsible for accidents.  Every reasonable precaution will be taken by management.
  22. Trailers will be directed to parking space.
